I am a molecular biologist with a passion for natural history and plant biology. My main research interest is the evolution of plant form and function, particularly the evolution of the molecular mechanisms regulating plant development and function. This includes the underlying molecular processes involved in the design and construction of the plant body as well as plant-microbe and plant-environment interactions.
