IN ENGLISH:
The trees have entered winter dormancy. But this winter has had trouble getting started. It rained when I photographed the alder tree last week. It’s been raining a lot lately. During all of October we only had a few hours one morning with a little snow on the ground. The last few days it has actually snowed enough to make the ground white, but the weather forecast promise up to +8° C this weekend so probably the current thin snow cover will melt away. Although I’m absolutely not a big fan of snow even I have to admit that November without a white ground cover is unbearably dark and awful.

Wishing BOTH of us snow!! Actually though I prefer snow, rain would be fine, third year of drought here :(((
It’s a pretty picture of the raindrops anyway…
I guess this is all global warming – we just had our first frost in South Wales yesterday after weeks of rain. Some trees still have their leaves.
All the best – hope you have snow for Christmas!
🙂
Lovely photos, particularly the second one. Here in Edinburgh, we’re also having an unseasonably warm November.
Thank you.
Good pictures, I like the second one. It’s been mostly wet and windy here in London, which as you say makes it a dreary month. xx
Thank you. November will end. Eventually…
