Nu i midvintertid är det bara en kort stund med dagsljus mitt på dagen. Och världen är blåaktig. Rönnen är täckt av snö. Men blir julen en vacker vit vintervärld i år? Nu är det en kall vecka med temperaturer kring -25 °C men från och med imorgon ska det tydligen bli varmare igen och om drygt en vecka lovar väderleksrapporten uppåt +7 °C.

Now at midwinter daylight is limited to a few hours in the middle of the day. And the world is bluish. The rowan is covered in snow. But will Christmas be a winter wonderland this year? This week is cold with temperatures of around -25 °C (-13 °F) but tomorrow the weather is supposed to be warmer again and in just over a week the weather forcast promises around +7 °C (45 °F).

Our weather in Scotland is currently windy and mild, but we have had some very cold days. We also had two big storms that brought snow to some places.
I guess I shouldn’t complain about our weather, not nearly that cold! But we’ve had horrendous wind; I prefer cold actually.
The cold weather is unusually early this year for some reason. But strong winds are worse than just cold weather. Warm clothes don’t help against strong winds.
